Most of us are already thinking ahead to the summer and you might be thinking about getting that body in shape for bathing suit season (whether you're a man or a woman)! There are great iPhone apps that can help with that, integrated systems for your iPod and your sneakers and of course, the good ol' fashioned way - a personal trainer.
In this episode, Erin Blaskie demoes Runkeeper (iPhone), introduces you to Nike+ (iPod) and takes you to Free Form Fitness in Ottawa to get a personal trainin...

I'm hoping that everyone is as excited to read this, as I was to use this app. I'd like to dedicate this app review to everyone of us nerds who can't go a day without using Photoshop! This app review is of the Photoshop.com application available on both the iPhone and iPod touch. Now, before we get started, I should note that this app has a partner in crime. It's not the full fledged Photoshop CS4 that comes in handy daily. In my opinion, this app is more for those editing quick pictures. To vie...

Gowalla is an excellent social app that allows you to check in to locations all around the world. In each location, you also have the opportunity to drop and pick up items to possibly become a founder of that location. It connects up to popular social media networks also to share your location with others.
If you'd like to friend me (Erin Blaskie) on Gowalla, check out my profile here.

Erin Blaskie demos the Sleep Cycle Alarm Clock by LexWare Labs. From their website:
The Sleep Cycle alarm clock is a bio-alarm clock that analyzes your sleep patterns and wakes you when you are in the lightest sleep phase.
Waking up in the lightest sleep phase feels like waking without an alarm clock - it is a natural way to wake up where you feel rested and relaxed.
Sleep Cycle has become a huge success with a #1 paid app position in many countries, including Germany, Japan and Russia...

This is a MUST-HAVE application for not just music lovers, but for those who don't buy or can't afford using iTunes. If you're looking f...

Ever wonder what other stores are charging for a particular product? This iPhone app lets you scan the bar code to check other store's pricing! Red Laser by Occipital lets you scan bar codes and check prices from popular retail outlets. Works on a number of products (I've tested a bunch in this video) and is pretty easy to scan, even with unsteady hands.

So one of the things that I rarely see with an app I come across is e-mail interaction. Urban Daddy is one of the exceptions. You can check out my original review here. For those who haven't read about the application yet. Urban Daddy is a sweet and innovative new app for the iPhone (and iPod touch) that allows you to select some of the selections they have on the screen in means to give you suggestions of where you may want to eat for that particular part of the day. This is a GREAT app for tho...

There are times that I often find myself in a bind when trying to decide what I should eat for dinner. Often times I just want some dessert if I’m alone, or with a date. I’ll be the first to admit, I don’t know the big city as well as some do, but the app I have here certainly helps getting used to things. Aside from a bunch of great ideas, I’m really digging the name… * drumroll * this installment is featuring Urban Daddy!
Urban Daddy is an app that literally fell in to my lap. I w...
